Magnificent Brass Basket Chandelier with Rich Crystal Drops – 6 Lights
Offered is this magnificent basket chandelier crafted from brass and richly decorated with an exceptional array of cut crystal drops.
The chandelier features the elegant classical silhouette characteristic of Empire basket chandeliers. Numerous strands of faceted crystals descend from the upper brass crown towards an elaborately decorated circular brass frame. Particularly beautiful is the finely embossed ornamentation of the frame with its distinctive crown-like decorative elements.
Below the brass frame, the chandelier is exceptionally richly dressed with a combination of large faceted crystals, long cut crystal prisms and numerous smaller crystal elements. The lower section forms a dense and sparkling crystal basket, beautifully finished with a large faceted crystal ball.
When illuminated, the multitude of cut crystals creates a wonderful play of light, reflections and subtle spectral colours. The warm golden tone of the brass provides an elegant contrast to the clear crystal and emphasizes the chandelier's luxurious appearance.
