This exquisite French bowl chandelier combines timeless Louis XVI elegance with the exceptional craftsmanship of the early twentieth century.
Dating from approximately 1920–1935, the fixture is made from solid brass and features a magnificent satin-finished alabaster glass bowl with soft natural marbling. Its substantial weight of approximately 10 kilograms immediately reflects its outstanding quality.
Three gracefully sculptured swan supports embrace the bowl, while finely cast floral garlands adorned with roses and elegant ribbon bows decorate the suspension. These refined decorative elements are characteristic of the Louis XVI revival and lend the chandelier an unmistakably sophisticated appearance.
A beautiful illuminated frosted glass shade above the bowl provides gentle ambient lighting and subtly enhances the delicate garlands surrounding it.
Measuring 43 cm in diameter with a total drop of 55 cm, this chandelier is ideally proportioned for entrance halls, dining rooms, bedrooms or elegant living spaces.
The chandelier is preserved in excellent antique condition with a beautiful original patina and retains all of its authentic charm.
