Antique French Brass Eagle Chandelier with Porcelain Roses & Flower Glass Shades – circa 1890–1910
Exceptional antique French three-light chandelier made of brass, dating from circa 1890–1910.
The chandelier features an extraordinarily decorative and detailed design. A beautifully modeled eagle with outstretched wings forms the centerpiece below the suspension. Three gracefully curved brass arms are embellished with leaves and delicate handcrafted porcelain roses.
Particularly charming are the three large flower-shaped glass shades in a warm honey/amber tone. Together with the naturally aged brass surface, they give the chandelier a wonderfully warm and distinctive appearance.
The chandelier is completed by its richly ornamented ceiling canopy and decorative chain.
