Elegant French Crystal Chandelier with Silvered Patina and Amethyst Crystal Drops, c.1900
This elegant French crystal chandelier dates from approximately 1900–1920 and impresses with its beautifully aged silver-coloured finish, most likely an original nickel or silver patina that gives the fixture a refined and timeless appearance.
Measuring 38 cm (14.96") in diameter, 50 cm (19.69") in body height, and 70 cm (27.56") in total height, it is perfectly suited for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms or elegant entrance halls. The suspension can easily be extended.
The chandelier features eight lights, arranged on two levels with four outer candle arms and four inner lights, producing a warm and sparkling illumination.
Its beautifully shaped glass centre column is decorated with an exceptional selection of crystal ornaments, including large diamond-cut prisms, faceted drops, elegant crystal garlands and rare amethyst-coloured crystal elements. These subtle lavender accents create a sophisticated play of light and make this chandelier far more distinctive than traditional clear crystal examples.
The chandelier remains in excellent antique condition with all crystal drops complete and intact. The electrical wiring has been professionally checked and is suitable for worldwide use without modification.
