Antique Jugendstil Ceiling Pendant in Brass with Cut Satin Glass – circa 1910
This antique Jugendstil ceiling lamp is an authentic original dating from around 1910, distinguished by its elegant proportions, fine materials, and timeless design. It is a beautiful example of early 20th-century European lighting craftsmanship.
The fixture is made of solid brass, displaying a warm, naturally aged patina. The shade is crafted from satin-finished cut glass, whose subtle etched pattern provides a soft, evenly diffused light. The restrained ornamentation and balanced form are characteristic features of the Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) period.
With a diameter of approximately 19 cm, the lamp has a delicate yet refined presence. The body height measures approx. 37 cm, while the total drop including chain and ceiling canopy is approx. 80 cm. The suspension can be adjusted to suit various ceiling heights.
The lamp is approximately 115 years old and offered in excellent condition. It is perfectly suited for hallways, bedrooms, kitchens, staircases, or smaller rooms, where atmospheric and stylish lighting is desired.
