Offered is this impressive Mazarin chandelier with 8 lights, France circa 1960–1970.
The exceptionally heavy and high-quality body is made of solid brass and weighs approximately 35 kg (77 lbs). The chandelier is richly decorated with finely cast galion figures (putti heads) and a massive entablature, from which 8 elegantly curved S-shaped arms extend.
Particular highlights are the large, finely detailed bobeches and the striking pinecone finial at the bottom. The design reflects classic elements of 18th century French style, giving the chandelier a very grand and representative appearance.
The chandelier as well as the electrical system are in excellent condition with no damages.
