Palace chandelier with nickel finish, crystal and glass “vases” – 18 lights, ca. 1910–1920
Offered is a truly sumptuous palace / castle chandelier, designed for impressive rooms with generous ceiling height. The chandelier is made of solid brass with an elegant nickel / silver patina and is richly dressed with sparkling crystal drops and garlands, creating a beautiful, lively play of light.
A standout feature are the pyramidal vase-shaped glass elements (in trade terminology often referred to as glass “vases”, sometimes discussed under the term Vasenleuchter / vase lights in the context of historic palace lighting).
Each vase acts like an additional illuminated glass body, adding depth and brilliance to the overall appearance.
The chandelier is completed with numerous faceted crystals, floral/rosette details and a large crystal ball finial at the bottom – an eye-catching centerpiece in a classic, representative style.
