A rare oval-shaped chandelier from Spain, dating to around 1960. The heavy body is made of solid brass with a rich gold-bronze finish and weighs approximately 27 kg (59 lbs).
Decorated with long leaves, tulip blooms and a massive lower bowl, the chandelier is richly adorned with fine lead crystal. The 12 bobeches and arms carry a total of 126 crystal drops, beautifully shimmering in rainbow colours. The lower termination ends in a long crystal spike with a crystal ball.
