This impressive two-tier French chandelier with 18 lights is a striking lighting piece, created for large and representative interiors.
Crafted from solid brass, the chandelier has a substantial presence and a weight of approximately 24 kg, reflecting its robust construction and high-quality workmanship.
The design features six main arms, each branching into three lights, forming a well-balanced and harmonious silhouette. The entire body is richly ornamented with finely executed acanthus garlands and floral elements, demonstrating the high level of craftsmanship involved.
A particular highlight is the elaborately worked central column, adorned with a delicately sculpted cherub figure, adding depth and character to the overall appearance. The chandelier is crowned by a large funnel-shaped top, composed of six elongated leaf elements, each decorated with large crystal pendants.
All 18 bobeches are embellished with small crystal drops, while the arms are further enhanced with rhombus-shaped crystal pendants. In total, the chandelier is fitted with 137 original crystal elements, all intact, creating a refined and lively play of light with subtle rainbow reflections. A large decorative crystal finial completes the design.
